Continuum
Continuum is an immersive fitness and wellness environment conceived as a seamless fusion of architectural clarity, material tactility, and sculptural space. Developed in collaboration with artist Sheherbano Salahuddin, the design transforms a conventional gym interior into a carefully choreographed sequence of experiences, from activation to rest.

The entrance is defined by a woven metal screen set within a landscape of black granite and gravel, establishing a deliberate transition from exterior to interior that balances presence with calm. Inside, the plan is organized into distinct training and recovery zones, each articulated with its own material and spatial identity. Training areas are expressed with raw, industrial cues that support focus and movement, while recovery spaces draw on softer forms and finishes that encourage pause and regeneration.

Material continuity is maintained through a disciplined palette of steel detailing, textured surfaces, and carefully zoned flooring, combining black turf, rubber matting, and exposed concrete to respond to varied uses and atmospheres. Exposed services and structural elements are left visible, allowing the architecture to remain adaptable and honest in its performance.

Together, spatial clarity, material interplay, and lighting design shape a holistic interior that supports both physical engagement and thoughtful retreat — a place where the body can move, reset, and evolve.
